What are your terms and conditions?
Your booking with Wish upon a Party is confirmed when I have received your 50% deposit or full payment. This deposit is non refundable and the remaining event charge must be paid prior to the arrival of the entertainer at the party or on arrival of the entertainer. If the party has not been paid for in full on arrival of the entertainer the party Wish upon a Party reserves the right to cut short the party and cancel your booking and keep the 50% deposit. Because we are in high demand, this policy ensures that our time slots are only taken up by clients who plan to keep their appointment.
You may cancel up to 24hrs before the party. Cancellation will result in forfeiting your 50% deposit.
Any amount you have paid above the required 50% deposit is refundable if cancelled up to 24 hours before the party is scheduled.
Cancellation within 24hrs of the party will result in a charge of 50% of the party total.
In the event of bad weather, serious illness, riots, Act of God, or other unforeseen emergencies, we reserve the right to cancel the event. In this instance, your deposit would be returned to you. This is the ONLY exception to the non-refundable deposit. Wish upon a Party do not accept any liability and shall not be liable for non completion of the event or for any delays arising as a result of:
Loss, damage or cancelation due to fire, floods or any other cause beyond it’s reasonable control
State funerals and days of public mourning
Strikes, riots or lock outs affecting any trade with which Wish upon a Party is concerned
Failure of the entertainer to arrive at the appointed place and time due to circumstances beyond their control
Our performers' safety is top priority. We reserve the right to leave any party at any time if our performers feel threatened or uncomfortable. In this instance, you would not be charged for the party, however, your deposit will not be returned.
All Wish upon a Party entertainers that are delivering a party by themselves are Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) checked. If entertaining at an event and parents are present it is not a legal requirement that all entertainers are CRB checked.
We do not accept liability for any damages that may occur on site. The venue is the responsibility of the client.
The host/parent is responsible at all times for the general supervision of children within the party venue and for insuring that children only leave the party venue with their own parent or guardian. Our entertainers are booked to entertain the children, if children become unruly or badly behaved it is the responsibility of the parents or hosts not the entertainer to control them. Our responsibility is strictly limited to the supervision of party activities provided by us. Guardians or hosts present should supervise children at all times. Safety is very important to us, we will do all that we can to ensure that no injury occurs to any persons at our events. However, in the unlikely event that an accident occurs, Wish upon a Party cannot be held responsible. Please note that small items are not suitable for very young children.
